Qual è il tuo background sportivo?

What is your sports background?

I started out when I was a kid with football, basketball, handball and then when I was a teenager I did more climbing and skiing. I have always been running  a little bit but the last few years running has dominated my training and my passion!

Ho iniziato da piccola con il calcio, il basket, la pallamano e durante la mia adolescenza ho arrampicato e sciato parecchio. Ho sempre corso, ma negli ultimi anni la corsa è diventata il mio allenamento e la mia passione!

Describe us your passion for running

Running in mountains is one of a few things that makes me feel like I´m really living. I don´t need anything else.

Correre in montagna è una delle poche cose che mi fa sentire viva. Non ho bisogno di niente altro.

 

 

 

Sei sempre in giro per il mondo a correre. Che esperienze stai vivendo?

You’re always around the world to run. What experiences are you living?

Very many, this season have been long and it is also my first season and I just ran my last race for this year (North face 50 miles). And now I really need to work with all new experiences and take time to figure out how much I´ve learned.

Molte. Questa mia prima stagione è stata lunga . Ho appena corso l’ultima gara di quest’anno (North Face 50 miglia). Ora ho veramente bisogno di lavorare con tutte le nuove esperienze  e  prendere tempo per capire quanto ho imparato.

 

 

 

Quali gare preferisci, Skyrace o Ultra-trail?

What races do you prefer? Skyrace o Ultra- Trail?

I love both in different ways! Maybe if I really needed to choose I would choose sky races because I really like the short technical and steep ones.

Mi piacciono entrambe in modi diverso. Forse se fossi costretta a scegliere, direi le skyrace  perché mi piacciono i percorsi corti, tecnici e ripidi.

 

 

 

Quali sono le tue caratteristiche?

What are your characteristics?

I think that could be that I am a happy person in general. It´s easy for me to look at the bright side. That goes for races to.

Penso di essere in generale una persona felice. E’ semplice per me guardare il lato positivo delle cose. E questo succede anche per le gare.

For sure! Dolomites is short and technical, one of my favourite races. Giir di  Mont is not very technical and very runnable. And Kima is just fantastic ! Super technical, long race and beautiful surroundings  and race course!

Sicuro. La Dolomites è corta e tecnica, una delle mie preferite. Il Giir di Mont non troppo tecnico e veramente corribile. Il Kima è semplicemente fantastico. Super tecnico, lungo e con panorami mozzafiato per tutto il percorso.

 

 

 

 

Com’è il movimento skyrunning nei paesi nordici?

How is the skyrunning movement in North of Europe?

It is getting bigger. In Norway it´s very popular with uphill races but the last few years mountain marathons and longer races has become bigger. I´m working on it to grove!

Sta  diventando  grande. In Norvegia è molto popolare con gare di sola salita anche se negli ultimi anni le maratone e le gare lunghe stanno riscuotendo successo. Sto lavorando per farle crescere.

 

 

 

 

Quale atleta ti ha maggiormente impressionato quest’anno?

Which  female athlete have you more impressed this year?

Many! Nuria Picas is a great ultra runner she is very good in technical.  Anna Frost, just amazing all crazy times she did on races she has won, that´s inspiring! Lizzy Hawker- no words needed.

 

Molte, Nuria Picas è una grandissima ultra runner. E’ veramente brava e tecnica. Anna Frost, stupefacente per tutti i tempi che ha fatto nelle gare in cui ha vinto. E’ stimolante. Lizzy Hawker, non ci sono parole

 

 

 

 

 

Cosa pensi di Kilian?

What do you think of Kilian?

He is a wonderful person and beeing out in the mountains with him is a great time. It´s  his habitat.

E’ una persona meravigliosa ed essere in montagna con lui è veramente bello. .E’ il suo habitat.

 

 

 

 

Obiettivi futuri?

Future Goals?

I want to keep enjoying the mountains the way I do. Running, and climbing! Next year I want to continue doing skyraces both short and long ones.

Voglio continuare a divertirmi in montagna proprio come sto facendo in questo momento. Correre e arrampicare. Il prossimo anno voglio continuare a gareggiare nelle skyrace lunghe e corte.
